Wild & Free!
Meet our August 2019 cover star Elizabeth Chevalier, the sexy biology major who’s easy on the eye with her exotic features and hourglass figure. What more could a guy want? She’s drop-dead gorgeous, fun to be around and super smart. Here, FHM gets the opportunity to get to know this sun-kissed beauty, up close and personal. Photography by Arthur St. John / @arthurstjohn
Elizabeth attended college in Los Angeles at MCU then later transferred to LMU where she received her B.S. in Biology. She’s appeared in numerous TV shows and pilots with the most notable being New Girl, Love Is Relative, True Detective, and Franklin & Bash. She’s featured twice in the Entourage Movie (2015) – in the first scene she played a flight attendant with co-star Tom Brady, and in a second scene she plays a girl attending the Golden Globes in a beautiful gold dress. “It was so much fun seeing my face on the big screen!” she said.
Elizabeth is skilled on and off the screen having graced a large number of big-title magazines across the world and featuring in not one, but two billboards in Los Angeles for the 138 water company – the first billboard was on Sunset Ave. and Roxbury in Hollywood, and the second was right on Sunset Blvd. and La Brea. “That was the most insane feeling ever driving past and seeing myself on a billboard on Sunset Blvd felt so surreal!” she said.
Elizabeth is a girl of many talents having also appeared in music videos alongside recognized artists like Maejor, Waka Flocka Flame and Jeremih. “I got an amazing opportunity to be the lead girl in two of Maejor’s music videos – the first video was titled “Tell Daddy” featuring Waka Flocka Flame, and the second video “Get You Alone” featured Jeremih. Maejor had also previously recorded with Justin Bieber at that time!” said Elizabeth.

Tell us about your life growing up and who you are today? Growing up I was a soccer player, gymnast and a varsity cheerleader all through high school. I started modeling when I was 16 and it has been a huge part of my life ever since.
You have graced the covers of magazines and featured on billboards and music videos. How did it all get started? I started modeling when I was 16 and I was signed right away with a major agency, and several other Los Angeles-based agencies around the ages of 21 to 24. I pursued my modeling career because I loved it andI knew that one day I could take it to the next level. Social media has been a big part of my success and I’ve received opportunities to be on many major covers, billboards, a movie, music videos, and TV shows.
You are our first cover feature for the return of FHM USA, how does it feel? It feels absolutely AMAZING being on the cover of FHM for your debut return to the US! It’s an honor and I am beyond grateful!
Can you remember what your very first modeling assignment was? My first modeling job was with Abercrombie & Fitch. I was so young, and I had so much fun with it. Everything else kept coming in from there!
How did your parents feel about you stepping into an adult world at such a young age? My parents didn’t mind. In fact, my mom fully embraced it and supported me.

You have a degree in biology, what made you decide on this specific field? Yes! I graduated in 2016 with a degree in biology but I never used it directly. I pursued this degree specifically because I love the science of evolution.
We always see the life of a model as being beautiful and glamorous, is it all that it appears? Yes! It has been an amazing experience and led me to meet so many incredible people and experience so many unforgettable places and things.
Traveling from shoot to shoot, is it that exciting, or do you sometimes feel like you’d rather be at home? There is a time when I want to shoot, and once I am physically and mentally prepared and in my best shape, I love it and get in the zone! Of course, home is always amazing to get back to and comfortable and relaxing, but I like to get out of my comfort zone sometimes.
What about home do you miss the most when you’re shooting on location? I miss my dogs, especially my little French Bulldog Apple. My fiancé always comes with me and supports me!

Being a successful and beautiful woman, does this affect your relationships? Being successful and beautiful does not hinder my relationship unless the person I am with is insecure. My faincé is 100% supportive of everything I do and pushes me to be my best! When I was younger and living in Los Angeles, I was dating people that were not right for me.
Do you feel you often get judged on how you look? Of course, all the time! I go back to a quote “don’t be so worried about what other people think about you, because, surprisingly, most people are only focusing on themselves or what you think about them.”
Do you have any preferences in men, and what advice would you give a guy if he’s trying to get your attention? I do. I like blonde men who have a sense of confidence and purpose and want to build a family, but I also have a little bit of a wild side!
When it comes to dating, do you believe the guy should always make the first move? I believe if you feel there is chemistry between you two and no-one is making the first move then go for it!

What are some of your dos and don’ts for a first date? I would always say be 100% yourself because eventually the real you is going to come out in a relationship. Make your first dates exciting and out of the ordinary so they are ones to remember! Also, wearing a certain kind of perfume or cologne has a lasting impression… a scent lasts forever! As for don’ts, playing hard to get only attracts the wrong kind of relationships.
We’re living in the age of social media, do you think it’s acceptable for a guy to approach a girl he likes on Insta and if so, what’s the right way to go about it? Yes, this is totally acceptable but how to approach depends on the person you are “DMing”. When you do contact them on Insta, I would say you should compliment the person on a picture they have recently posted in a genuine way.
Speaking of social media, what’s the most random thing you’ve ever received in your DMs? I get a lot of offers to travel internationally. I’d say, just be careful!
If you could spend an evening with any person in the world, over dinner, who would it be and why? If I could spend a night having dinner with anyone in the world it would be Marie Antoinette. I visited the Palace of Versailles last year and I’ve always loved her style, elegance, and being over the top.
It’s great to have you grace the cover of our magazine, well, what’s next for you, are you working on any projects at the moment? I am working on planning my wedding right now and I have some projects coming out at the end of this year before I start a family.
