You’ve had a successful and enduring career in the adult entertainment industry. What motivated you to start, and how has your perspective evolved over the years? I was motivated because my family and some of my extended family were struggling financially. I was working as a Registered Nurse making pretty decent money, however, it was not near enough to support my family to the extent that they desperately needed at that time. My mom and my sister were dealing with a lot of medical, physical, and financial burdens and it did not matter the amount of overtime I worked as an RN, it was not going to be enough at that time. I started to webcam and made great money! I was so surprised! I thought this is how I am going to do it! Then someone suggested why not do adult film? I thought about it and thought why not?! My perspective evolved and I was learning ways to take the money I made and make it work for me. I started a couple of businesses that are doing well, began to invest, and tried to better my situation.
Who has been the most influential person in your life and why? My mom is the most resilient human being that I have ever met. She had a horrific childhood that is too painful for me to disclose. She raised me to be strong, and kind, not to take any disrespect or put up with anyone’s abuse. Whether it be mental or physical. My mom raised me to do what was right, to stand up for others, and that “NO” is an answer that needs no explanation. She has always supported me whether she agreed with it or not because, at 18 years of age, it was my life. Her love is unconditional and I am so grateful for her love and support throughout my life. She is a “WARRIOR WOMAN!” My husband has also been my biggest supporter. I have known him since I was eight years old. He is my rock and believes in me when I do not believe in myself. He is loyal, and kind, he is a “force to be reckoned with when it comes to protecting his family and friends and I have enjoyed watching him in action a few times when things needed to be handled. He has been through so much in his life and he is still here smiling every day.
You’ve also ventured into directing, can you tell us about your experiences behind the camera and the creative aspects of directing? Directing was fun but not what I expected. Being able to book the sexy girls I wanted was the best part The most significant moment was when the movie I directed won an award – Best MLF Movie. I thought I did well and I never expected that at all! I really try to give the best to the fans… ALWAYS!
You’ve won multiple awards throughout your career. Which achievement or recognition holds the most significance for you, and why? My goal coming into the industry was to make money to help my family and once I figured out how to sort of do that I wanted to win one AVN! I wanted to be recognized as the BEST just one time. My husband said to me if we are gonna do this then, we don’t go half in…all in or none! So go all in and be the best MILF ever in the industry. I said “Ok then!” he said “KL up time,” that was our/my motto when time to get focused on work. With that being said the first XBIZ award I won for MILF of the year was nice and did not expect it. But also winning the hottest avn milf a record 7 times is pretty cool! I can’t wait to see who will be chasing that record and when they do I will definitely congratulate them! Hey who knows I may win number 8 still.
Beyond your work, you’ve also been involved in various charitable activities. Could you tell us about some of the causes that are close to your heart? I love helping when I can. I love doing anything that helps kids and families. I also love to help girls in sports in any way that I can. Girls support girls. It isn’t always about charity but just supporting others and helping them to achieve their dreams fulfills me.
Every industry changes over time. How do you see the future of the adult entertainment industry evolving, and what role do you envision yourself playing in it? I see the industry evolving to women being more in control of their careers and more autonomous. It is already happening with only fans. What used to be men in control is over now, and only fans gave us girls control over our careers. We have the pu$$y so we make the rules! (if I can say that). My role will always be to support the adult industry and tell the positive side of it. It has helped me and my family to have an amazing life. I tell people that men and women are smart, they are moms and dads, wives, and husbands, and are no different than you are except that they are not afraid to film it. We are monetizing from one of the oldest jobs ever… sex work. It’s not all sex, drugs and rock ‘n roll. New girls be aware to never trust their agent.
What’s the most cringe pickup line you’ve ever got? Never forget, I see you’re into fitness I said “Yes”, and he said “You not fitting this dick in your mouth.” I laugh now but I wanted to punch him.
What is the absolute worst thing a man can do to completely put you off? Being rude to others and when I am out with someone and they are not in the moment and focused on everything else drives me nuts.
3 things that you can’t go a day without. Coffee, peanut butter, and ordering from AMAZON. I have a problem lol.
If you could spend a day doing anything you wanted, what would it be and why? A day at a ranch something like Yellowstone ranch. Enjoying the view, the peace, and drinking my coffee on the porch. Riding horses and going all over the land with no phone on me all day.
Are any new projects or events that you’re working on and could you tell us a bit about that? I am now starting to get into real estate, I also enjoy sponsoring and learning the management part of MMA and boxing.
