We’re happy to have you featured on FHM. Can you give us a bit of a background on your career as a model and where it all started? As a little girl I always loved magazines and would cut out the models to make paper dolls! So I think I always had an interest in the fashion world. However, I didn’t have any expectations of ever actually being a model. I wanted to be a ballerina. When that dream didn’t work out, I said yes to other opportunities that came my way, and that’s how my career eventually began. I booked a billboard campaign in Los Angeles and after that I got to move to from Ireland to America. I’ve got to travel, see the most beautiful places, meet amazing people, and had so many wonderful life experiences thanks to modeling.

What helps you decompress and relax? Any chance I have at escaping to the beach is a must during my days off. Being in nature is incredibly important for me. I’m also great at staying in and watching shows at night.

How romantic are you? I am very romantic. I love Jane Austen, old fashioned love stories and shows like Bridgerton! Small thoughtful gestures make relationships and life more magical I always think.

Having a full schedule must make it difficult for you to get much alone time, talk to us about the top 3 must-dos to ensure you fit in some well-deserved downtime.

1). Making lists! This motivates me to get things done and I can focus on the top priorities and what is not so urgent.

2). Getting up early! I love to sleep a lot! so this is never easy for me but if I don’t feel rushed in the morning, it sets the tone right for the day.

3). Scheduling self-care! I try to make time every week for bath nights, yoga, a hike with friends, and getting my nails done. Things that ultimately help make me feel more energized.

What does it mean for you to be seen as a strong, intelligent, ambitious woman? I’d be very flattered.

What are some of the biggest misconceptions people have about what you do? Maybe that its a glamorous fun job! And of course it can be.  However it can also be lonely as you’re often traveling on your own and working with different people all the time.

What does freedom of self-expression mean to you? Living in an authentic way, treating others with kindness and empathy, even if they have different beliefs or values.

Who are some of the models or influencers that you admire and draw inspiration from in your career? I really like Miranda Kerr. She always comes across so full of positive energy.

We absolutely love your Instagram, your content is very dynamic, inspirational, and downright sexy, could you perhaps tell us what your personal experience as an influencer has been like? I enjoy the artistic side of creating content but its definitely another full time job to keep up! It’s allowed me to collaborate with lots of brands I genuinely love and connect with lovely people from all over the world. So overall I think it’s a mostly positive platform for people to put their own stamp on.

Do you have any hidden talents, if so what is it? I’m a qualified yoga teacher.

What is your favorite body part on you? on him? on her? That’s a tricky one to answer! Maybe my hands!!! On him? a warm smile.

If you could eat just one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? Cereal, it’s such an easy comfort food!

Do you have any regrets in life? Not really, as I like to think you can always begin again. And things often have a way of working out for the best, even when you are sad and can’t see it at the time.

Thanks so much for your time, Where can our readers follow you on social to stay updated on what you’re up to? On Instagram: @kerriemxoxo.
