We’re catching up with the American multi-cover model, fitness expert and ex-military, and Professional Smoke show girl, Kindly Myers!
Heya Kindly! We are happy to have you on the cover of FHM Canada! Could we start by you telling us a little bit about yourself, where you’re from, and what got you started on your journey into modeling? I’m from the United States actually, a small town in Kentucky. Growing up it was always a dream of mine to one day become a model. When I grew up, I moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where I met a local photographer who wanted to take my photos. It was fun and the photos were published I was basically hooked after that.
You are in incredible shape, keeping camera ready must be a lot of hard work, what are some of your favorite ways to stay in shape? It is a lot of hard work and effort, but I actually love it. I work out with a trainer 4-5 days a week and do cardio 6 days a week. I have a love/ hate relationship ship with the stair climber.
Do you have any role models in the industry, or are there any people you’d absolutely love to work with and why? I have a great circle of friends that I have met through this industry. We all motivate and inspire each other every single day.
We know this isn’t your first rodeo in terms of photoshoots, could you tell us more about some of the work you’ve done and what were some of your most memorable moments? I’m always traveling and doing photoshoots. It’s what I love. My favorite shoots are outdoors whether it be a beautiful beach or the mountains. One thing I’m happy that modeling has allowed me to get involved with is hosting charity events. I love being able to use my platform to inspire others to do good.
What advice do you have for all those aspiring young models hoping to break into the industry? Keep going. People will tell you no, don’t take it personally. Someone else will tell you yes!
We are absolutely crushing on you for knowing your way around tactical courses and playing with big guns, what are some of your favorite things to do in that field? I spent 4 years in the army national guard. I love anything that has to do with shooting and the outdoors. I love shooting targets.
Are you currently working on any new business ventures or modeling projects, and could you tell us more about it? I’m currently working on making Kindly NFT right now. It’s such a growing market and I’m excited to get involved in this field. It’s a learning process but I’m having fun with it.
Do you have a celebrity crush, and what do you look for in your ideal partner? My celebrity crush would definitely be Ben Affleck. Qualities I think are important in a partner would be kindness, loyalty, a good sense of humor, maturity, and stability.
Mixing business with pleasure, do you think lovers can go into business together? I absolutely think that is possible in the right situation. It honestly depends on the people for that.
In the current world of social distancing and online dating, would you say chivalry is dead? Sadly yes, I think chivalry is dying.
What’s your idea of an ideal date, and does money make the moment, or is it the thought that counts? Honestly, it is the thought that counts most. I could have fun doing something thoughtful and meaningful that was free. Spending money doesn’t always equal a great time.
