Sabrina! Happy to have you on the cover of FHM! Tell us what are some of the things you did to prepare for this shoot? Hi! Thank you for having me on the cover. It’s such an honor too. Shoot preparations are strategic and very similar to when I was a figure competitor on stage. Every year I learn more and more about my body, the changes that it goes through, and loving even the imperfections too. I have clean eating habits all year round, and preparations start at least two months prior to the shoot date.
I am also experienced from the many years of being in the industry and have a creative mind too. Let’s just say that I have a vision regarding wardrobe and set ideas, and put it in motion.
You’ve got an amazing figure and beauty about you; we’re keen to know what you would say is your favorite physical feature about yourself and why? Thank you for the compliment! I favor my naturally squared jawline. I will include a body part too. My arms have always been genetically toned. I take after my mother in this area, and look like her too.
Being a glamorous model must have its perks, what are some of your most memorable experiences in your career? Well, I guess I could get out of a speeding ticket, if they catch me …lol joke I do believe that my most memorable experiences are just around the corner, and they are going to come.
What would you say sets you apart? I guess I have always cleared my own path in life. I have been through quite a bit and sometimes a not-so-wonderful journey. No matter what, I pick myself back up, figure it out, and continue moving forward to reach personal and business goals. I have always been able to have a great network of people around me, and it really does make a difference too.
On the topic of men, what were the complete best, and worst first impressions you’ve got on a first date? Well, I don’t have many juicy dating stories because I honestly don’t really date. I was incarcerated for 10 years, released about 6 years ago. It’s public information on the internet and I am proud that I stood my ground and did not cooperate. I don’t want to lose more good years, and I choose to focus on myself and my career, my knight and shining will come in time.
What would you say is the most surprising thing about you that not many people know? I am not sure these days what people know about me or not. I can say that my incarceration is a shocker for most. I have had a speech impediment since early childhood.I have a very diverse career, and not sure that everyone can keep up.
If you had to choose, would you say money and wealth determines success, or is it one’s personal achievements and happiness? Achievements and Happiness are the most rewarding regarding success. Health is your Wealth. Money has a way of making life easier and adds more power to the mix.
On a more personal level and in an ideal world, where do you see yourself in five or ten years; time in terms of family life, career, or both? I am definitely a planner too. I see myself every year reaching new goals. I see within the five-year mark that I will have written a book, started up a new and successful online business, and possibly with a special someone. The ten-year timeline: I will be traveling, enjoying the finer things in life, and married for the long haul.
What advice would you give to other models or aspiring models out there in light of all the challenges faced? Not only was 2020 a challenging year, but also the time of the present is still unpredictable with challenges around the world. My advice to other models and aspiring models would be to reach for the stars and don’t allow anyone to hold you back from your dreams. It’s also a good idea to research, network with experienced models, and do what makes you happy.
Any final words to our readers on what to expect from you this year? I am closing out this year 2021 with this beautiful Cover and Layout for the month of November. November is also my birthday month …yeah! I may have a couple more magazine Covers coming out… wink wink, I have been having a little fun on the sets shooting for high fashion publications.
