Aside from a few on the longtime greats making this list with purchases too big we could only ever dream about them, there are those uniquely strange purchases that the ordinary person like ourselves are probably never EVER going to be able to afford – or even think about buying. As for those lucky celebrities with the cash to spend, well, they seem to get whatever their heart desires. Check it out.

If we’re going to start a list about fancy and beautifully expensive things then we might as well start with a rapper and person who is truly stunning herself. Enter Nicki Minaj, the celebrity that seemingly blew up overnight is no stranger to living her best life. It’s reported that in 2014 she once dropped a massive 75k on a luxury weave. No kidding. It’s for that reason that Nicki makes her way on to the list. Although it may seem expensive, the weave was fairly unique having been growing out for more than six years by a woman in India. Talk about being patient right? Still, that’s no big deal for Nicki, with countless hits and an estimated net worth of a cool 85 million dollars, Nicki can afford to buy whatever she wants.

There’s no denying that Kanye is one of the most interesting celebrities out there. So it’s no surprise how this uniquely enigmatic rapper would make the list. It’s reported that back in 2011 he spent an estimated 1 million dollars for his birthday party, that’s right, a smooth one mill on a party? Now that’s what we call flashy. Rick Ross knows how to spend big and that’ll sure be a party he’ll never forget. On the subject of Rick Ross, another interesting purchase the rap star has reportedly made was spending $1,500,000 on a diamond-encrusted chain of himself, wearing, a diamond-encrusted chain of himself. Seems big stunning is alive and well.

Mr. Big Pimping himself just had to make the list, ironically, a lot of the stuff rappers buy seems to be expensive jewelry. Ice, bling and a dope flow seem to go hand-in-hand in the industry. Either way, Jay Z makes the list not once, but twice. First, for his purchase of a Richard Mill RM56 – for short which he is reported to have paid a staggering $1,700,000 on. Secondly, and for a substantially larger amount more, Jay Z ‘other’ crazy-expensive purchase is a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport which was reportedly bought at an estimated (mind-blowing) $2,700,00. That’s right, imagine spending 2.7 million on a single car? That’s more money than most of us will ever see in our lifetime. But it’s not entirely unbelievable. Over the years Jay Z has done remarkably well for himself and he deserves to enjoy his money, so nothing is too expensive or too good for the man himself. Way to go Jay.

Just when you think you’ve heard it all, and that there’s no way it can get much crazier than 2 Chainz purchasing a $1,000 ice-cream… it kind of does. Strangely enough, this isn’t the first golden toilet making the list, but at almost three-times as Kanye’s 613k this is definitely the ‘more expensive’ option. Back in 2016 Birdman the label mogul and rapper responsible for bringing us rap legends like Lil Wayne reportedly made headlines when he dropped a staggering estimated $2,000,000 on a golden toilet. Talk about a pretty pricey premium.

Everybody’s favorite host of America’s Got Talent just had to make the list no? Although Nick Cannon himself isn’t much on the music scene as a performing artist he is still a very-well recognized celebrity in his own right. Nick made the news when he wore a pair of white-diamond-encrusted Tom Ford shoes which came at an amazing $2,000,000 a pair – that’s equivalent to wearing a smooth one mill per foot. Talk about walking the walk.

Here’s one for the record books. Imagine never having to worry about the neighbors again? Well, Drake doesn’t. Since purchasing his luxury home for $7,700,000 back in 2012 rapping legend Drake has taken it one step further by literally buying the neighbor’s house if they ever complained about the noise. In 2016 property website Trulia reported that the rapper purchased his neighbor’s home in California for a massive $2,850,000 while other reports vary between 2.5 and 3 million. Still, that’s a pretty hefty price to pay for some peace and quiet, or is it the price to pay for all-night parties? Still, as expensive as it was, currently Drake is regarded as the fifth richest rapper in the world with an eye-watering net worth pegged at 150 million dollars. So we don’t think he’ll be thinking too much about the 2-odd million something here and there.
