Elizabeth, we’re very happy to finally have you on FHM UK, how many FHM covers have you been on so far? This cover will be number five! I’ve been on the cover of FHM USA, FHM India, and FHM South Africa twice.
Tell us a bit about your shoot – where, when, the idea behind it, etc… I did this shoot in a suite at a luxury boutique hotel in Houston, Texas this past October. It was my first time working with my talented photographer friend Audra Oden in a long time, and we wanted to capture lots of high glam and pinup shots since those two genres are what we always do best together.
So, go on, tell us what’s at the top of your Christmas list? Besides peace on earth? A trip overseas to an exotic or picturesque location would be great right now. I think the entire globe has cabin fever after the Covid roller coaster that we’ve all been on for the last two years.
What is your best asset? Physically and otherwise. I’ve always felt that my best physical feature are my eyes. My mother says that they’ve been the same size since I was a baby, and I get more compliments on them than anything else. Beyond the physical, my best asset is most definitely my ability to absorb information. I love history, philosophy and other lofty intellectual subjects and can discuss them at length.
Given that you’re a very popular figure in the industry, what would people be most surprised to know about you? I love solo travel. Taking vacations with friends and family are wonderful too, but I really enjoy solitude and visiting grand or breath-taking places by myself to take pictures and commune with nature.
What have you learned about men over the years? Men are much less complicated than women are, which is a wonderful thing. Sometimes I envy the simplicity that seems to go along with men’s thought processes. Women tend to overthink and overanalyze everything in sight, and although that can be beneficial at times, it’s also exhausting.
What’s one thing men should always know about women? We all want to hear that we’re beautiful. All of us. Whether it’s your wife, your mother, your daughter, your grandmother, or any other woman that you know, noticing their new haircut, their outfit or something else that they’ve put effort into and telling them that they look beautiful is one of the greatest things that you can do as a man.
What do you look for in a man? Honesty, a sense of humor, and an unwavering moral character
What can we get you at the bar? A club soda and lime. I don’t drink alcohol! Bloody Mary’s and red beer (beer with Bloody Mary mix) always seek to do the trick on my friends.
What’s a cause you are very passionate about and would want to have a bigger voice? I’m an investor with a CBD company that focuses on helping veterans, athletes and first responders because I’m a big believer in natural medicine. Big pharma is not your friend.
What’s next for you? Any exciting projects on the horizon you can share with us. I’m excited for the next chapter with Brothers N Arms CBD! We recently launched some great partnerships with podcast hosts from around the globe (including Sonya Morton Firth in the UK), and I’m excited to see how we can continue to expand our brand and reach new people to teach them about the benefits of CBD.
