What has your journey as a certified bombshell been like so far? Thank you, it’s an honor to be a part of the FHM family. My journey has been quite a journey, one I never thought I’d be on as long as I have. When they say wild ride, they aren’t kidding; but I wouldn’t change a thing. Everything about this experience has made for some interesting stories, unbelievable adventures, and amazing lifelong friends. I’m extremely grateful and blessed to have all of this.
Can you tell us what some of the things that motivate you to stay on top of your game are? I love proving people wrong and staying relevant is a great way to do it! The world has changed so much with the internet and while it’s amazing to have so much information at our fingertips, it’s definitely changed the way we consume just about everything. The bullying that used to go down on playgrounds plays out online now which with my thick skin doesn’t bother me, it just pushes me to work harder, to do that extra 5 minutes on the elliptical. Gratefulness to be doing what I am also playing a huge part because so many people aren’t doing what they love or dream of for various reasons. And lastly, a lifelong love of learning keeps me busy keeping up with the latest trends and adapting to the constant changes in the entertainment business.
Top 3 best moments of my career- The first one happened pretty early on when I was still pretty new and just another starlet or so I thought. I was at the world-famous Wildsides in Florida when the manager sent over a bottle of champagne because he recognized me. I was floored, stunned even. Definitely flattered. The second was when I was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame. I had been nominated many times, and numerous projects won, but I had yet to have been awarded myself at least by AVN. The Hall of Fame isn’t just about the length of time in the business, though it does matter. That particular award is about someone’s body of work and their contributions to the industry, and it is an honor to be an inductee alongside so many amazing performers and crew members. The third is working with you not only once, but twice now. France is especially dear to my heart as some of my family fled to the US during the persecution of the Huguenots.
What is your favorite chill-time activity? I’ve turned into a homebody and love to spoil my loved ones with home-cooked meals. Even our dogs get food made for them since I feed them a partly raw diet. When I am in the mood to get out, we enjoy going dancing or comedy shows.
Ultimate date- so if money was absolutely no object. I’d love to be surprised with an impromptu trip to someplace I’ve never been with a rich history. Someplace like Rome or Istanbul so that we can go to an amazing museum or two and get lost in the history of the area while enjoying amazing farm fresh-to-table local food. I don’t want to just go visit, I want an immersion in the local culture. If the place has local pubs or bars, let’s go! If there is a place the locals say we must eat at, let’s do it! If there is an off-the-beaten-path thing we must experience, I’m in. That’s the way I love to travel. If we were to stay closer to home, in the US, I’d want to pick a weekend to go to Mardi Gras and enjoy the culture. It’s unlike anything else and so much Fun. Perhaps pick the weekend when the Krewe of Barkus does their parade in the French. Quarter since it’s one of my favorites because it’s the dog parade.
Absolute favorite things to do- as I mentioned I love to cook and can spend hours in thrift shops looking for old cookbooks since I collect them. I also like to upcycle things like old furniture and give it new life. The last piece I did was a small end table that I turned into a black coffee table for my creepy doll corner.
3 ultimate deal breakers when it comes to men- I can’t stand men I can’t trust. Narcissists and Captain Save a hos need not apply because Im not interested in chronic cheaters or men with control issues. I’m happy with who I am and after dealing with those personality types, they are completely untrustworthy. I’m also not interested in men that are unsafe which is another issue with the personality types that I’ve mentioned. And lastly, the only man I am willing to mother is my own son. I want a partner, not a man-child.
One last chance with no limits- it’s so hard to narrow that down to one thing, there is so much I still haven’t done! I want to go on a cruise around Alaska, I want to see Thailand, I want to snowboard in the Alps, and visit Germany for Oktoberfest, I can go on and on because there is just so much left to do and experience all over the world. I want to get some land and animals and build a ranch for my home base, but I never want to stop exploring the beauty all around me, both near and far.
Where is my favorite place to be and why? Home. It’s taken me a very long time to find my partner and he means everything to me. Our home is happy, full of laughter, pets to make us smile(3 French bulldogs and two tortoises, and a pig), and we have amazing close friends as well as family. I couldn’t ask for anything better.
Playing on loop in playlist- I don’t really do the whole playlist thing though I listen to the Highway on Sirius XM all the time. I will say that Morgan Wallen is pretty special since when I met my partner, one of his songs would come on whether I was on my way to him or he was on his way to me. When Wallen was in concert a year later we went and it was fabulous. I like Lainey Wilson a lot too and feel like she was robbed of the best album at the CMAs this year.
