Meet the lovely Shelby James, our December eye-candy. She lives in Houston, Texas, but grew up a few hours away in a small town. She enjoys traveling, seeing new places and meeting new people. “I love learning from others and I’m constantly working to improve myself“, she says. For fun, Shelby enjoys yoga and going to the beach and now, FHM gets candid with this sun-kissed hottie!

I am super excited to have gotten the opportunity to shoot for FHM, especially on such a unique set. It’s an honor to grace the FHM pages.

Something surprising

I’d rather stay home with my cat than go out to the club most of the time.

I’m just a girl that loves a good adventure and kindness!

Hobbies

My hobbies are hot yoga, going to the beach, riding bikes… and pretty much anything outdoors!

Turn on

My biggest turn on is someone who is compassionate and can put others’ needs ahead of their own.

Turn off

My biggest turn off is probably someone who talks down about people that are different from them.

The perfect date

I think my perfect date would be dinner and dessert and then going for a good walk after.

Modeling challenges

I’d say my biggest challenge is my size. I fall more into the petite model category, but I’ve never let it hinder me from going for new opportunities. I love seeing how progressive and inclusive the modeling world is becoming, opening up doors for people of all sizes.
