There’s nothing average about this vivacious beauty. Described as short, sweet, and to the point, Amber knows exactly what she wants out of life and isn’t afraid to chase after it. She loves traveling, shopping, fashion and she’s an avid fan of Japanese culture. Here, we get to know Amber a little better to find out what this gorgeous girl is all about!
Tell us something surprising about you? I can bake the most amazing chocolate soufflé! I experimented with it so much until I really perfected it.
What inspires you? Seeing other people who are extremely driven inspires me. People that stand out, go against the norms and don’t care what other people think.
Why did you choose to pursue a career in modeling? I never would have guessed that I would be where I am now based on my past. I was defintely the odd one out when I was younger and much less confident. Now I have really grown into myself and feel like a completely different person. I absolutely love what I do. Being in front of a camera just feels natural to me. I think it’s so much fun to work with other people and be creative.
Who do you look up to in the modeling industry? Tyra, obviously. Stella Maxwell, Candice Swanepoel and Heidi Klum.
What are some of your hobbies? In terms of art, I’ve always enjoyed makeup as a creative outlet. Photography is fun and seeing other people’s work really inspires me. I also really enjoy anything related to health and fitness! I love doing yoga and barre. Getting outside, being active, going on hikes. Finding new healthy recipes to make. I also love reading.
Name three things on your bucket list? Visit Greece, learn how to surf, and go sky diving!
Turn-ons: I like guys who are confident, dominant and aren’t afraid to make the first move. Although if I’m interested in a guy I also have no problem making the first move or showing them that I’m interested. I tend to get bored with guys pretty fast so they need to be really fun.
Turn-offs: Being too needy and lack of trust. I love when a guy is confident and super supportive of what I do. I find that so attractive!
Describe to us your perfect date: A perfect date for me would be going out and doing something! A show, concert, the beach… anything where we can actually have fun and get to know each other at the same time. Save dinner and a movie for later!
Which world capital would you most like to visit, and why? I would love to visit Tokyo someday to experience the culture! I have always been obsessed with Japanese food. Getting to experience the fashion and shopping would be amazing. Both of my sisters have already been… so I defintely need to start planning a trip to go back with all three of us!
What is your mantra? “I am loving awareness.” It’s something I learned while practicing yoga. It’s a great reminder to focus on the present moment, and that the past and future are all just thoughts.
