Happy to have you featured on FHM! Tell us what are some of the things you did to prepare for this shoot? This was a dream come true! I am such a downtown LA girl so I really wanted to bring my city life to this issue. We shot on my rooftop in Los Angeles CA, (the city of angels). I came up with the inspo and vision board to create a vibe. Before any of my shoots my #1 go-to workout is Pilates reformer machine workouts. Also lots of teas and celery juice to hydrate my skin!
You’ve got an amazing figure and beauty about you, we’re keen to know what you would say is your favorite physical feature about yourself and why? I love my eyes. I’m half Filipino and really like how they photograph and angles. Also my petite bod!
Being a glamorous model must have its perks, what are some of your most memorable experiences in your career? Most memorable is all the trips I get to take. Learning new cultures, food, volunteerism, art and all the connections I’ve made. I can call some of the people I’ve met in my industry my best friends and family now.
What would you say sets you apart? I would say what sets me apart is my knowledge in the fashion industry. My degree in product development and graphic design at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise has really helped me bring visions to life! It’s helped me communicate on projects and articulate what it is we are trying to achieve.
On the topic of men, what was the complete best, and worst first impressions you’ve got on a first date? I haven’t been on too many dates, I tend to meet people organically in a group setting. I guess the biggest turn off would be someone who is very emotional and not open-minded. And a turn on is someone who takes care of themselves hygiene, carries himself well, fit and smart!
If you had to choose, would you say money and wealth determines success, or is it one’s personal achievements and happiness? Nothing wrong with being money-driven as long as your doing it within your own boundaries you set for yourself; balance is key! Personal achievements feel so rewarding and money can’t buy that! I’ve felt successful in both areas.
On a more personal level and in an ideal world, where do you see yourself in five or ten years; time in terms of family life, career, or both? Eventually, a mother, homes in different countries, working with real estate and designing and traveling with friends and family.
2020 was a challenging year for us all, what advice would you give to other models or aspiring models out there in light of all the challenges faced? Keep it going don’t stop modeling. Even if it’s brand deals from your iPhone due to lockdowns, facetime photoshoots. Update your pictures when you can, keep inspiring!
Any final words to our readers on what to expect from you this year? Thanks for supporting me! Can’t wait to show you more this year happy 2021!
