Tell us something interesting about yourself that people would not ordinarily know? I didn’t have my first boyfriend until college and had to always ask guys from different schools to high school dances. I was definitely a late bloomer, to say the least!
If you weren’t a model, what would you be? I wanted to become an art dealer, specifically in Italian Renaissance art.
Who is your celebrity crush? Chris Evans aka Captain America
What is the one thing about yourself that you wish more people knew? That I’m very approachable and not what I seem like online. Everyone I work with tells me they had an idea that I would be stuck up but I’m very laid back and easy going. I’m not stuck up and I’m very down-to-earth and always smiling.
What does your typical day look like? I wake up, check my emails, have a light breakfast, go work out, chat with friends, figure out when my next shoot will be, make a home-cooked dinner then watch some tv or read a book in bed. I’m pretty normal unless I’m traveling for work or having a photoshoot. On those days I can have early call times for hair and makeup, shoot for several hours in different locations, go in for fittings and castings and then a wrap party.
When you are not busy modeling, what is your favorite thing to do? Binge-watching crime documentaries on Netflix or Game of Thrones.
Which three words best describe you? Goofy, creative, sweet.
Were you excited to shoot for this feature? Oh of course! Eduardo was a blast to shoot with and made me feel comfortable so my true beauty could shine in the pictures.
Do you have anyone special in your life and could you tell us a little bit more? I always like to keep my personal life private. I think people should be able to have privacy in today’s day and age despite social media which is hard to have, unfortunately. I think too many people put too much of their lives out there for everyone to see which can be good and bad.
So Colleen, where to from here… what are your plans for the future? I would like to continue modeling and try different styles such as casual wear or catalog but if it’s not broken, don’t fix it! I might stay in glamor/men’s photography for a while…
