It’s great to have you with us on FHM. For readers getting to know you, how would you describe your journey and the woman/person you’ve become today? My journey has been anything but conventional. Most people know me as Ice from American Gladiators, but that was only one chapter of my life. Since then, I’ve navigated career changes, personal challenges, reinvention, and the reality of getting older in an industry that often celebrates youth. Today, I’m stronger mentally, emotionally, and physically than I’ve ever been. At 62, I know exactly who I am. I’ve stopped seeking approval and started living authentically. That’s a freedom that only comes with experience.
What goals or dreams are you currently focused on achieving? Right now, my mission is to redefine what’s possible as we age. Whether through fitness, media, podcasting, or social platforms, I want to show people that life doesn’t slow down after 50; it can actually get bigger. Personally, I want to continue building meaningful brands, growing my podcasts, and inspiring people to take ownership of their health and longevity.

What do people often get wrong about you? People assume that because I’ve always been physically strong, life has come easy to me. The truth is, I’ve faced the same insecurities, setbacks, heartbreaks, and self-doubt as everyone else. Strength isn’t about never struggling; it’s about continuing to move forward despite the struggles.
What is your favorite song right now? Right now, I’d probably say “I Had Some Help” by Post Malone and Morgan Wallen. It’s fun, honest, and impossible not to sing along to.
First thing you do every morning when you wake up? Before I touch my phone, I take a moment to appreciate another day. Then it’s coffee, checking in on my dog, and getting my body moving. Even a few minutes of movement sets the tone for everything else.

Are there other passions or business ventures you hope to explore in the future? Absolutely. I’m passionate about health, hormones, longevity, and helping people feel their best as they age. I’d love to continue expanding into media, wellness partnerships, and projects that empower both women and men to take control of their health.
What do you hope readers take away from your story and this feature? It’s never too late. You don’t age out of your dreams, your confidence, your sexuality, or your purpose. Every decade can be your best decade if you’re willing to keep evolving.
Who has been the biggest source of support or inspiration throughout your journey? My family and close friends have been incredible, but honestly, some of my greatest inspirations have come from ordinary people who refuse to quit. The people who get knocked down and keep showing up inspire me every day.

How do you balance your personal relationships with the demands of your career? I’ve learned that balance isn’t about perfection. Some days work gets more attention, some days relationships do. The key is being present wherever you are and making time for the people who matter most.
Has love or heartbreak ever shaped your growth or perspective in a meaningful way? Absolutely. Both love and heartbreak have taught me invaluable lessons about resilience, self-worth, and vulnerability. Some of my biggest periods of growth came from experiences that didn’t go the way I planned. Looking back, I wouldn’t change them because they helped shape who I am today.
What qualities do you value most in the people you keep close to you? Authenticity, loyalty, kindness, and a good sense of humor. Life is too short to surround yourself with people who aren’t genuine.
What kind of example or legacy do you hope to set for the next generation? I want people to see that aging is not a decline, it’s an evolution. I hope women especially realize they don’t have an expiration date. Strength, confidence, beauty, ambition, and purpose don’t disappear with age.
What new doors or opportunities are you hoping to explore in your career? I’m excited about opportunities in television, podcasting, wellness, public speaking, and brand partnerships. I love connecting with audiences and sharing conversations that help people live healthier, more empowered lives.
