It's a Guy Thing

Flaunts Her Perfect Body

with Elizabeth Marshall

How excited were you to be on the cover of FHM? I mean, is it really anything other than an absolute dream come true? Excited is an understatement. I’ve dreamed of being a cover girl since I was young, and landing FHM was a big full-circle moment for me in a lot of ways.

Modeling is a big part of your life, could you tell us what inspired you to start and what your journey has been like to get to this point? I’ve always been a creative person. Theater, fashion, music, art, history, and exploring ways to blend them together has always been a fascination and a hobby of mine. I’ve always been active and I’ve been practicing modeling as a hobby since I was young, but after I started lifting weights a few years ago, I realized that I absolutely love combining the aesthetics of strength, femininity, beauty and grit. Opposites are intense, interesting and fun to play with.

You look incredible, what are some of your favorite ways to work out? I hate cardio a little less than most people do, so I try to get in at least twenty minutes of some form of HIIT (usually on a StairMaster or spin bike) 4 to 6 days a week. I also lift 5 to 6 days a week, and I alternate between upper and lower body days so that one group of muscles has time to rest while I work on the other group.

We would love to get to know you! Could you describe to us what a day in your life is like? I’m self-employed, but I like to structure most of my days as though I were going into an office environment. I get dressed instead of hanging around working in sweats, I get out of the house, and I work. Work can mean a lot of different things, but these days, it’s mostly doing content creation, lifting, and looking for new ways to inspire and connect with fans.

What are some of your favorite things to do? Exercise (obviously), but that can come in several different forms. I do almost all of my lifting and weight training in a gym, but I love to hike and do other outdoor activities whenever I can. I also love music and cars, and both live concerts and long drives in the country or somewhere beautiful do more than just about anything else to make me feel passionate, inspired and alive.

You’re glamorous and fun what would you say makes you the happiest? Inspiring and motivating others. It’s become a cliche, but giving really is the best way to feel rewarded and good about yourself.

Turn-ons. Intelligence and a great sense of humor.

Turnoffs. People who act like they’re better than others.

What makes you tick? A lot of creativity, passion and drive to create, find and share beautiful things with the world.

As an established model, what advice can you give aspiring models out there to help them achieve their dreams of doing what you do? Don’t quit! Very few people are pure naturals when it comes to modeling, so keep practicing until you find your groove. Also, remember that you don’t have to be 19 years old or rail thin. We’re fortunate to be living in a time where the industry has changed quite dramatically and where lots of looks and body types are being celebrated.

Thank you so much for sitting with us and letting us get to know a bit about you! Do you have any last words for our readers out there? People will forget a lot of things about you, but they’ll never forget the way you made them feel.
